Classroom Mysteries
Innovative Instruction and Lesson Plans tied to Mystery Events

What is a Classroom Mystery?

A Classroom Mystery is an innovative way to couple the classroom learning experience with the fun of solving a challenging kid-oriented case. In our kits, you’ll find lesson plans that focus on murder-free whodunits that not only enable your students to put on their thinking caps, but also emphasize core content.

How can they be used in my classroom?

Each of the mysteries is associated with one or more subjects that you teach daily. The lesson plans for each subject are organized this way:

•Preliminary information that you’ll present to your students before you start the mystery investigation.

•A mystery kit that contains everything you need to orchestrate the event in your classroom.

•A method for processing what the students did into a valuable learning experience.

Who designed these kits?

All of the lesson plans were designed by educators who have classroom experience. They know what it takes to interest students and how that interest can be transferred to vital content. The mysteries themselves were written by a select team of writers from around the world who know how to intrigue and entertain kids.

When should I use a Classroom Mystery?

That’s really up to you, but here are a few suggestions:

•When your students need to “jump start” the learning process as new content is being introduced.

•To enliven a subject that might be getting a little “stale>’

•As an inclement weather activity that kids will look forward to.

•As a reward for excellent performance.

You can probably think of a few more ways to use them.

How long will it take to get the Classroom Mysteries?

You’ll have them as soon as your credit card (or PayPal account) is processed. That’s because all of the Classroom Mysteries are DOWNLOADS. You’ll be sent to a screen with instructions on how to save the kits to your hard drive. You can then run off the material as you need it.

What do I do if I have questions?

That’s no problem. Simply call (262)377-7230. Your questions will be answered and advice given on how to make the Classroom Mysteries work for you. You’ll be able to organize an event that your students will talk about for a long time. And, they’ll ask you to do it again.
